IDENTITY STATEMENT
Hilmar County Water District was established in 1965 for the purpose of providing potable water to the residents of the Hilmar community. Shortly after establishment, the District also began providing wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, and storm drain services.
The District serves a community of approximately 5,500 people with day-to-day operations led by the District Manager and a team of knowledgeable staff and operators.
Hilmar County Water District has been in operation for over 50 years. We work every day to ensure our customers have the water, sewer and storm drain resources they need to operate their homes and businesses. While we are always looking towards the future for new improvements and innovation, we strive to remain true to the hard work and ideals that got us here.

Hilmar County Water District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Hilmar County Water District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
