Starting Monday, May 22, 2023, and continuing through the week to Friday, May 26, 2023, the District will maintain the water distribution system by flushing lines. This process runs water through our fire hydrants to remove sand, rust, and other constituents that can build up in our pipes. Customers can expect to see discolored water while the crews work nearby. During this time, customers may want to refrain from doing laundry (to prevent discoloration), and they should remove any water filters from their filtration systems (to prevent damage).
Should you notice discoloration in your water, run an outdoor faucet to help remove any remaining debris from the service line before using indoor water fixtures.
