NOTICE OF VACANCY ON BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HILMAR COUNTY WATER DISTRICT

The Board of Directors of the Hilmar County Water District hereby gives notice that Director David Alvares has resigned from the Board effective July 11, 2022, and that it is the intention of the Board of Directors to appoint a person to fill the vacancy created by said resignation within sixty (60) days of said resignation as allowed by Section 1780(d)(1) of the California Government Code. Said Appointee shall serve the remainder of this term, which runs until the regular election in November of 2024. Any person who is interested in being considered to fill said vacancy should submit his or her name along with a resume of his or her qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve as a director to the manager of the Hilmar County Water District, Curtis Jorritsma, at the District Office located at 8319 N. Lander Avenue, Hilmar, CA 95324 on or before August 23, 2022. Any prospective Board member must reside within the current boundaries of the Hilmar County Water District.
