I.              WATER SERVICE CHARGES, FEES AND SURCHARGES RATES

Effective July 1, 2018 (from Appendix I Table A)

BASE RATES FOR WATER SERVICE CHARGES
The monthly Base Water Service Charge will be the sum of the Fixed Service Charges and the Volume Charges set forth below for all customers.

**Residential  accounts  such  as  Mobile  Home  Parks  with  multiple  dwelling  units  on  one meter  will  be  charged  by  multiplying  the  number  of  dwelling  units  by  the  rate  blocks shown under “Mobile Home Parks” above.

II.             SCHEDULE OF SEWER SERVICE RATES, CHARGES, FEES AND SURCHARGES
Effective July 1, 2018 (from Appendix I Table B)

BASE RATES FOR SEWER SERVICE
The monthly Base Sewer Service Charge for all Residential units will be the Fixed Charges set forth below.  The monthly Base Sewer Service Charge for Commercial and Institutional customers will be the greater of the Fixed Residential Base Charges or the Volume Charges set forth below.

B. ADJUSTMENTS TO BASE SEWER SERVICE CHARGES
Unless otherwise indicated, commencing July 1, 2018 the Base Sewer Service Rates and Charges described in A above shall be adjusted annually on the 1st day of July of each fiscal year by an amount equal to the percent change in the All Urban Consumers Index, U.S. City Average (ASCA), as supplied by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on the 1st day of  January  immediately  preceding  the  July  1st  date  of  adjustment,  unless  or  until  such time as new rates are set by the Board of Directors.  The amount of such adjusted Base Sewer Charges shall be computed as follows:

Adjustments to Base Drainage Service Charges

Monthly Billing Cycle :
Each month, the District staff reads all customer water meters. The schedule for reading meters is between the 20th and 24th of each month. Water and sewer service charges (if applicable) are itemized and combined on the same bill. Please call our customer service staff with any questions regarding your account.


Past Due Notice Policy :
Bills are mailed the last business day of the month. Bills are payable by the fifteenth (15th) of each month.

When payment is not received by the twenty-fifth (25th) of the month a late charge of 1.5% of the balance due is added to the monthly charge.

When an account is thirty (30) days past due the billing statement is stamped PAST DUE.

When an account is sixty (60) days past due the billing statement is stamped with a SHUT OFF date of the fifteenth (15th) of the month. 

Accounts not paid by the 15th are given a “RED TAG” notice on their front door that states the water service will be shut off in forty-eight hours if payment is not received.

Accounts that are shut off for nonpayment must be paid in full plus a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) reconnection fee before the service is reinstated.
